F.A.Q.’s

Q. Do you help us with the timeline of our day?

A. Yes! We’ll create a custom timeline for you based on your events planned and a portrait list for your formal portraits.

Q. How long does it take to get the wedding photos after our day?

A. My standard practice is 6 - 8 weeks after your wedding date.

Q. When and how do we reserve our wedding date?

A. Normally clients will book me at the in person consultation after going over all of the information. There have been some clients who have booked over the phone, due to the long distance between their location and mine. To reserve your date, a signed agreement and the retainer (1/3 of you collection total) will be required.

Q. What kind of equipment do you use?

A. I have professional Canon equipment and always carry backups with me the day of, so that I’m completely prepared.

Q. Do you shoot film?

A. While my education started on a film camera, I do not shoot film. I am a huge fan of digital for many reasons and edit in a way to make my images look similar to film.

Q. What type of education/training do you have?

A. I’m very proud of the fact that I have been an artist my entire life, and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Iowa State University. I believe that it’s important to always strive to be better than the day before, so I invest thousands each year in my continuing education with some of the industry’s top leading, award-winning photographers. All because I believe that my clients deserve the absolute best in artwork and service.

A. Absolutely! I will guide you every step of the way so that your engagement photos look amazing. We’ll plan the shoot ahead of time and I’m a pro at guiding you through the session so that you feel completely comfortable and have a fabulous time.
